Hard to see but here is a pretty nice bull from a scouting trip a couple weeks ago.  Can't wait to get back up there!

Photo of the Day 11

Her is a picture of Tyler on a successful mule deer hunt last fall.  With the season so close it never hurts to post pictures like this! This was the first chance tyler had to test out all of his new Sitka Gear and the 2011 Bowtech Invasion.

Featuring glass for Schotte, the same glass in Zeiss optics these scopes are crystal clear at all light levels. The ZA3 line also features 21 layer lens coating, each layer in this coating allows for better light transmission of a certain type of light.  This coating system that typically only seen in scopes in the $800 or more range. This system provides crystal clear light transmission even in extremely low light. Also even thought Minox is a German company all of there rifle scopes are assembled in the US and are backed by an unconditional life time warranty.

Photo of they Day 9

It is truly amazing the things a person will do to get pictures of elk and deer.  Hiked about 1500 vertical down to put up a Minox Trail camera over a water hole.  Going down wasn't too bad but the hike back out was a little rough! Oh well, a great excuse to test out my new Sitka Mountain pants and Traverse hoody.  Plus is was a good get in better shape hike to get ready for season.  Now I just have to get back in there to check that camera some time. "What was I thinking?"

Photo of the Day 8

Reaching back into the archives a few months, this is a picture of Josh and Kate on a turkey hunt in Kansas.  It was a lot of fun to watch Kate take her first animal ever.  On top of that, Josh was able to test out some of the new gear we have in the store.  Shown in the picture is the new Bowtech Insanity, and a full set of clothes from First Lite.  Pretty awesome day.  To see the video of this hunt click here!

Photo of the Day 5

We happened to see quite a few moose when we were up on a hike the other day.  Got pretty close to this cow and calf.  Made sure I stayed far enough away not to get charged.  Fun to see them up close though.

Photo of the Day 4

This is just one shot from another day of scouting.  Josh is getting use of the Minox BL 15x56's as well as the old trusty Badlands pack.  You'll see a lot of use out of those binoculars throughout the year!

Photo of the Day 3

This is just a random picture of Josh and I heading up to do some summer scouting.  We did happen to find some great elk and deer but those will be shown in another photo of the day posting.  Felt good to get a bunch of miles under our belt and see some new country.  Season is close!
